Carrot Seed It has a powerful scent but when blended with other oils and diffused it has a warming, earthy almost spicy aroma.
It is said to be grounding and soothing in nature, so it is ideal for diffusing in times of stress. It can be added to massage oils to help maximise the benefits of massage.
Carrot Seed Oil is prized for its therapeutic skin care benefits. It is rich in antioxidants so it’s good for those with mature skin. It is an ideal essential oil to formulate skincare preparations like serums, lotions, creams and balms.
Dilution
Dilute at a percentage of 1% of the finished blend, 1ml of essential oil (approx. 20 drops) to 100ml of carrier oil. Do not use undiluted on the skin. You can use up to 3% dilution for use on your body or in the bath. Consult your doctor or midwife before using during pregnancy.
Aromatherapy
Diffuse with other soothing essential oils and let those worries drift away.
Massage
Carrot Seed Oil can be diluted in a carrier oil and blended with other essential oils to create a massage oil blend. We love Sweet Almond (#215), Grapeseed (#210) or Coconut Oil (#203).
Skincare
Add a couple of drops to your moisturiser to boost the antioxidizing powers.
