This wonderful polymer provides fantastic emulsifying and thickening capabilities, making the formulation process even easier and allowing more room to experiment with your favourite ingredients! EasyMix Silk works well across a wide pH range of 2 – 9 and can be used as a foundation for your emulsion, or can simply be used as an additive to increase oil loads, change rheology or raise viscosity.
Using the power of instant cold emulsifier technology, EasyMix Silk can be added at different percentages to formulations for the desired effect. For example:
Sprays: 0.5 – 1.5%
Hair styling products: 1.0 – 6.0%
Hair conditioners: 2.0 – 5.0%
Milks, Lotions and Creams: 2.0 – 6.0%
